Widest tires on stock wheels

Im sure it is posted on here but I work 14-16 hours a day and just looking for quick responses. I really appreciate any responses.

Title explains it. What is the widest I can go for the rear wheels without rolling the fenders. I do plan on using a 12mm spacer on the rear wheels.

What is the best gripping tires without going crazy on price.

Thanks guys!

If you have the stock 18x8.5 rims, the widest you can go depend on tire brand. If you have a michelin pss, widest would be 255, any wider and it will bulge like an suv wheel. The grip is unbelievable and they hold 500lbft of torque from my diesel no problem. Very sticky but not too harsh.

if you go with a continental or another brand that runs skinny then a 265 might work. Check the specs of the tires before hand.
