Rear Quarter lights

Quick query:

Just been reading (yes reading!) some info on the E92 & noticed that there was no reference to electronic opening of the rear windows,are they fixed?

I'm hoping that they still open, but I'm guessing that i'm gonna be disappointed

It's a coupe. Very few coupes have opening rear windows.

That's part of the styling appeal for me. 2 doors, 2 rear seats etc.

i agree they only add weight and may even compromise rigidity slightly with them not being fixed

I liked them on the previous iterations of the 3 series coupe i've owned, I suppose now the dehydrating evil that is aircon (IMHO) has taken over.
anyway its gonna be 7 or 8 or 9 months month before we will need them again

I could always buy a B3 vert to get that feature back

Yep Red - I agree the Aircon is evil. I hardly ever switch it on as I hate the way it dries out the air. Sunroof rules

No opening rears does not bother me as there is hardly ever anyone in the back of the car anyway and the sunroof gives you a good blast of fresh air all round.

They were more of a pain in my last coupe as I always ended up opening them by mistake.
