Installed JB2H, CDV, SSL, and M3 wheel this weekend....

My brother came up from VA to visit my parents for Easter and stopped by my place to install the JB2H, CDV, BMC filter, Short Shifter and M3 wheel on our cars except for the M3 wheel and JB2 on his car, which he had previously installed...

M3 wheel, JB2H, BMC filter, CDV, and Short Shifter was a breeze to install -had two of each part and did both cars on Saturday in several hours.

We had to make a trip to the local automotive store to get a bleeder kit and bled CDV as the clutch felt spongy after installing the CDV. What a difference the CDV and SSL makes - night and day, and also what a difference the JB2H makes compared to stock.

Enjoy the pics! My brother posted some pictures in the photo gallery too...

nice dude. I was contemplating a CDV delete but since I was leasing, was hesitant to. However, someone pm'ed me that it was fine and the dealer will most likely never know even if I do it so we'll have to see lol.

Thanks... I went conservative with the rims.
Next on the agenda are the following:

RiXeffects boost gauge and pod on order
CP-E exhaust on order
painted reflectors
not sure which suspension setup I want to go with yet
front lip

I think that's it for this summer, unless something else catches my eye.

I bought the CDV from RISS and did not delete the CDV in total... The dealer will never know unless they take out the CDV to compare the inside diameter... The CDV from Riss looks exactly like factory.
It is simple to install but would recommend bleeding after the procedure, I thought I was going to get away without it.

I had my CDV in the original packaging for a while too and finally installed it with the SSL.

I will most definitely post sound clips with it on... My brother has it on his car and it sounds really nice, plus what convinced me is that fact it doesn't drone at highway speeds.... LOL my golf tee mod drones louder than his CP-E while crusing on the highway.

I find the golf tee mod drones at certain rpms but don't get me wrong the CP-E has a nice deep tone and when you WOT it opens up. My brother tells me he sets off car alarms in his garage...LOL

My wife came out to the garage and had asked what the hell is that noise... I guess when my brother started his car in my garage it resonated throughout the first floor.

Yep - it's because the sedan has resonators and the coupe doesn't!

CDV and the short shift lever is a must IMO. Throws are a little stiffer than stock but def shorter. I felt like a MT noob w/ the OEM CDV, epecially the rough 1 to 2 shift. The modified one totally eliminates that.

Painted splitters and black finisher rods are going on tonight. Waiting for warmer weather to install the M3 spoiler and shipment from longtran for the matte black kidney grills.
