Fifth UK Meet - UK5 : S I G N....U P....N O W !
Well boys and girls, hop-along-cassidy here missed UK4 because of my ankle injury but having spoken to The Guv'nor today (Viv) who is my second favourite Viv after VN, we thought we should start planning UK5.
I hear UK4 was a roaring success but I'm sure we can make UK5 even better. Well, it will be because I will be there! The general plan (but open to discussion and suggestions as always) is to repeat something along the lines of the previous meets: somewhere central UK like Donington in Derbyshire, pick a Saturday that the majority can make, meet at Noon, chat/take pictures/bbq, go for a leisurely drive , then go for a meal with some staying the night. First of all we need to see what dates people are available, so I've attached a poll for everyone to vote. You can vote for multiple dates, so tick each date that you can make. Once we agree a date, we can then decide the grand plan! Looking forward to it already! Please sign up here. Promo sig is below: |

How about Buxton as a venue? Middle of the country, Peak District, fabulous driving roads, know of some good places to eat and nice B&B to stay... I know it's fairly similar to Ashbourne/UK4, but I think the location is pretty good...?

The 15th and 29th March are out for me as is the 5th of April.
Other dates are OK though and Buxton sounds like an excellent venue. We found some great roads in the peak district last time. |

Wouldn't mind going and the Peak District sounds good, that's if no-one minds a woman going. Had to ask.

I didnt mean FOS or The revival, I meant booking it for our own track day.
Revival is September, and FOS is July for reference, and both are well worth going to

Personally, the Peak District and Donington are getting old for me. I'd rather try something different for a change. I realize this area is the central portion and pretty much equidistant for many of us but four meets in the same area? I'd like to see something else of the country. As for dates, I'll have to check the schedule.

My brother lives very close to Goodwood, very pleasant around there. For anyone who needs it I can operate the 'Park 'n' Ride' service

Top idea. Been there twice now for the palmersport day and I would love to have a punt round the west circuit in my own car. (although I would rather go round again in the Formula Palmer Audi) |
