Need Help regarding changing out the OEM Tires/Wheels

Hello all,

I bought a 2010 328i recently which came with 16" wheels. I am looking to get rid of those and replace them with 18" VMR VB3 (CSL style) wheels and possibly Hancook or Continental 225/40 tires. Question I have (probably a very noobie one so please excuse) is where do I go to get this wheels/tires installed professionally, will BMW do this for you? Does the service with BMW get affected due to this change? I am planning to re-use the TPMS from the OEM wheels.

Oh yeah, also any idea as to where I could get a good deal for the 18" (8.5) VB3's in Hyper Black or Matte Black. Can anyone with those wheels post their pics? much appreciate it.

Thank you.

If you go to the dealer, they will only sell you the runflats that came with the car originally, so the warranty will not be affected. my advise, go to a reputable tire/wheel store and purchase the combo you want, keep the original wheels and tires, buy a jack, and put the original wheels on when you take your car into service.

You can pretty much go to any reputable tire place in your area. I'd suggest looking at Google maps and reading some of the reviews. TireRack also has recommended installers that can be found with a zip code search. As far as the service, no it won't void your warranty or anything if you don't go to a BMW dealer.

On your question about where to buy the wheels, you should check the vendors for sale section in this forum; there are several vendors and have hundreds of wheels...
