Touched in a large chip on my passenger door caused about a month ago by a neighbour hitting it with a car door. Painted at the weekend and smoothed with some t cut and polished up tonight. Pretty pleased with the outcome.

Wasn't prepared to spend £500 fo the three panel respray required to fix and blend it properly!

I got a progress report on mine from Sytner. They've had it 3 weeks today to cure the weird noise from the dash. Fingers crossed I should have it back for the end of the week.

I though bmw recovery would not call out for flat tyres. At least I thought i read it in the small print...

I managed to (very gently) hit a wall while parking up arriving at work this morning in a rush. Fortunately no damage at all!

Yesterday I filled up the tank whilst realising how much petrol I used in four days and came to the conclusion that my car should not be used as a run about would.
Go some place once in a day and return once. In reality that probably wont work out.

Today: Rebadged it to a gloss black 335i emblem all on my own

OEM - cheapest option (notice I don't say cheap!)

Really wanted to go RB but then thought I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of a highly modded car when it comes trade in/sale time.. Plus big turbos means you start to need hd clutch. Then LSD, suspension etc to make it usable.

Sat in Darren Woods now, will be ready in 2hrs time. Legendary service thus far!

Gutted!! Hopefully you'll notice a massive difference with the new turbos, smoother, quieter & more power.

I'm in your boat, will be swapping mine out in the next couple of months.

A full simple wash for me takes two hours.... that might take me a whole day; but I think it needs to be done before winter comes along
