What is it costing you at the moment?

Our diesel is up to £1.00 and was £1.20 a litre last year. At the moment costing roughly £60 to fill a tank. Thats got to be around $100 US dollars for conversion.

Not sure about diesel, but gas is creeping up now in the U.S. I filled up at $2.33/gallon for 91 octane here in Southern California a couple of days ago.

where did you find gas for $2.33 down here and what brand is it? the cheapest i've seen is $2.4x.

full tank of gas runs about $30-35 and gets me about 270 miles. while a full thank of gas may be cheaper for us diesel does get better mileage. i think the proper way of figuring out expenses would be calculating cost per mile or kilometer.

How much does a litre cost over there or is it priced in gallons?

I always use Mobil. This was at the Mobil in Northridge, on Reseda and Devonshire. Again this was several days ago.

Over here in Dubai, it's around $1.83 per gallon for 98octane. 98 octane is usually equivalent to 95 octane of US. It's pretty bad in UAE compared to other Gulf states. It's under 1$ per gallon in Saudia Arabia

I paid $9.50 a gallon for premium in Germany during ED (7/08)
I paid $8.00 a gallon in Switzerland.
Italy and Austria were in between.

Premium is ~ 1.30 € per Liter. Converted that is 6.35 $ per gallon. Cheap at the moment.
