OEM Projectors with H7 HID kit? E90 Andy?

I sourced some OEM Projectors for my E90 for $400! I attached a picture. I have installed some sort of lights/projectors on every BMW i have owned (E28, E30, E36, E39), so I have some experience in installing and wiring.

I found a few guides to getting these to work and bumper removal.

How can I fit H7 in the OEM housing? I already have a H7 kit and would like to use it, rather than sourcing OEM parts. I haven't looked at the lights, so not sure all what is involved. Any help would be great. I am not looking to purchase anything, I am looking for info so that a guide can be made and others can do this mod without paying $1000+.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get them from? I assume they are non-adaptive and without ballast right?

You will need warning cancellers, relay harness, and also modify your xenon headlight to work with your H7 kit. I remember the yellow wire is power and brown wire is ground but search to make sure.

Or you can contact ******* and purchase his kit. Either way it should work, good luck.

got the HIDs to work with a capacitor. Error is there some of the time but usually disappears once lights are turned on. Relay harness is by no means necessary but is nice.

Parachute fix is simple enough, not sure about having the fogs always on with the headlights though. Just wire the fogs into the headlights wires so that it thinks H7s are hooked up, then run the headlights off a relay with the headlight (now fog) as a trigger.

I should have everything done by next weekend. Under $600 for US HID housings, h7 hids, and no warnings.

Ok so I thought the normal error was bearable when it came up and disappeared. Looks like I ran into bigger problems! Lights work fine but this "Lighting system! stop vehicle" error I am getting now is annoying!

Picked up some warning cancelers from a fellow member, should be here today or tomorrow!

Here are the lights that were on my car when I bought it. Don't look to bad, but then again they are not oem. Cut off and projection are decent, but I am a perfectionist and want OEM

If anyone is interested I will sell them for $125 plus shipping.

These appear to be the chrome version of the projector 90 headlights which some vendors sell.

Cancelers are no go either. Prepping a "parachute" harness. Who ever thought installing a HID kit would be so hard??? I could deal with the headlight error, but not the lighting system error which comes back on my idrive screen every minute!

Here is the harness I made (thanks to parachute) to solve any errors.

Interesting, I didn't do foglight on mine. Glad it's working for you.

H7 Bulbs are fitted in the OEM housing. Hi-Beam hooked up to HID shutter. Extra ground added internally. Passenger side is ready to go, will be doing driver shortly and install once it stops raining.

Total Cost so far -
$400 - 07 OEM HID Housings
$35 - Radio shack - Wires, Relay, connectors, for no error wiring
$90 - DDM 55w HID Kit

$525!
