Your favorite Burger/ Joint

So 2 questions

1> which Joint
2> What Burger

so I've had so far:

Mc, (big mac) BK (whopper), Wendy, A&W, Harvey, Big Smoke (not too impressed), Hero (Burger)

not tried 5 guy's yet, there's a new one here

Back in the day Mr.Wimpey
Kinda liking the chicken Buddy Burgers

I prefer a whopper, but when I get a snack attack nothing beats a big M,

kinda of hard to beat good old In-n-out and also the Habit. California based (but are slowly expanding to other states) chains.

Uhhhh, I don't eat fast food.

However, there is a pretty good local place in town called Brooklyn Eats that sources all their beef from the ranch down the street as well as all their produce. They make a killer mushroom swiss on brioche.

Five Guys
Bacon cheese burger

I recently tried BurgerFi. Not impressed. They do offer a few craft beers on tap and by the bottle and the decor inside is nicer than most burger places.

I feel as though they have tried to copy everything Five Guys does; yet have come up short. There burgers are smaller and more expensive than Five Guys. Overall I wouldn't go there again.

Burger Joint in Le Parker Meridien, New York. The only do one burger.

For local, I like Hopdoddy's, pretty much everything they do is good.

I've arguably been to all of them... and without a doubt Five Guys wins every time.

Shake shack, jack in the box and the usuals suck... the only exception is Whataburger but that is not too common so I don't typically refer to it.

Holy shit, we almost agree.

Five Guys is definitely the best of the fast/semi-fast joints.

Whataburger is everywhere here.. but it's not good. better than most fast food joints, but still not good.

This is definitely awesome, and I stayed there for a week before realizing it existed. I's also add the only decent burger in London, and it's actually quite exceptional @ Burger & Lobster.

I got excited about this thread. Until I saw everyone is just talking about fast food garbage. Never mind.

Not big on fast food (although pizza is my vice) and rarely eat a burger unless I make turkey burgers to grill at home (which isn't often either). I'd say Burgers 'n Beer (Yuma, AZ), though...the Mexicali Burger followed by the Gary Burger (burger w/ an egg on it).

I like Five Guys and In-n-Out (none on this coast). Shake shack is pretty good. I think I prefer Five Guys for the customization and ease of ordering. Burger Joint in Le Parker Meridien is quite good as well but I haven't been there in ages.

Not what you'd expect to be hidden behind a curtain in the lobby of a fancy Manhattan hotel:

I read whopper and burped.

Bakery to farmers market to butcher to Spec's to kitchen to grill and back to kitchen.

Grilled medium over pecan and mesquite. I like a stanky rouqfert to blend with the Anaheim chilis. Fresh green tomatoes fried in peanit oil. Five color slaw with ancho dressing. Ice cold extra malty beer. Lots of friends that love my cooking or always lie and are just mooching.

If I have to have someone else's, maybe Smash Burgers Texan or whatever the spicy one is named. Decent fries.

1. In-N-Out.

2. Double double, extra toast, grilled onions, fries well.

/thread.

ps. Someone tried to kill me by suggesting animal style on both the double double and the fries. While it was glorious, my heart can only take so much abuse.
