I've been told I can't take pics AT ALL, ie cameras banned at entry - but I will try and get one or two pics... if I can do it on the sly ...

I was at a local event at a BMW dealer here in DK yesterday and saw the 435i in the flesh!!!
What a beauty!!!! The lines just come together in a perfect way...

It might be that one they wanna present :-)

I went and it was the 4 series. 420d sport spec in mineral grey with coral red interior. Bit of chat with the journos from what car and BMW UK.

Can't help thinking the biggest rival to 4 series will be 2 series when it lands.....

So...what did u guys think ? Is it as nice looking in flesh? Is it more like the demo version or have they watered it down ?

Spotted what looked like a new BMW on the M40 North Bound near J4, 2 months back Black and white curly whirly zebra esq stripes all over. Two kidney grills of course. Mid size and two or four door with quad exhausts. Almost looked like a 4 series. A Focus ST tried its luck but the BMW stayed ahead. Flames from the BMW exhaust as the Focus became a speckle in its rear view mirror.

I tried to get closer to the action but they were both far gone and I tend not to drive above 75mph.

Yep that was me in the 335i estate, sorry didn't make the connection at all until reading yr write up.

Otherwise, we could have chatted about 2 front Sport Contact 5 19" tyres I have. Dropped you a text but got no reply so assume you don't need them anymore.

Watered down!

But the Project Manager from BMW mentioned the M-Sport version with the adaptive LED lights would look more similar to the concept version!

Exciting times ahead for this car!
