Question: Bulbs for Alpine HID AE Kit e92

Did some searching but couldn't find an answer to this.

Does anyone know what type of HID bulb the Alpine HID AE Kit's (for e92) come with? I have a kit (8000K) that has slight discoloration in one of the bulbs when I turn them on, after the 30-60sec warmup (I believe this is the bulb and not the ballast as I tried switching the bulbs between passenger and driver side and the discoloration followed). Do these take just regular H8 35w or 55w HID bulbs that I can buy from like eBay or something?

Man I am having the same exact problem!! Major Discoloration Problem! The left bulb is a lot more blue than the other one!

I tried contacting the vendors at Alpine several times, but no response!!

I tried contacting them as well. They mentioned it was covered under warranty and said they shipped replacement bulbs but I have not received them yet (been 2 weeks). They are usually great with customer service from the feedback I read on the forums from other customers. Maybe they're just super busy. Not a real problem. If I can get an answer on the type of bulbs used (H8 35w vs 55w) I don't mind spending the $$ on getting replacements myself.

i have had the same issue with mine when they finally sent them to me it was the wrong bulb so i just took them out i have 3 bulbs now but they are 10k
