Angel Eye Replacement idea?

Not looking to get bashed over this comment lol... however what is the difference between these and other Angel eye LED kits that go for $100+...I guessing it has to due with the wattage control?

Can these be a substitute to the GP thunder halogen replacements?

Also what if one was to get these for there fogs? I understand that there would be not to much light output but just throwing it out there.

I have lux lci halogen angel eyes and I don't even have the lights on my car yet. I tested them out real quick and they are fantastic. I recommend them but for your price range I would say gp thunder is the way to go for 20$. I paid 175 for my led bulbs.

Basically with the bulbs it all pretty much reliability, brightness during daytime/nighttime, and build quality. Can't wait to install...

Haha thanks. Its not that I didn't want to make the investment in LUX I just saw these and figured I'd ask. Any experience with them as Fogs or know of anyone?

Oh please dont use those bulbs you linked in E-bay. they will be invisible in the daytime and they aren't work spending $5 on.

There are numerous differences between real LED Angel Eyes and the bulbs you listed. The lights you listed are probably 50-100 lumen, while our LUX H8 V3 angel eyes are closer to 800 lumen. Brightness of course is the biggest issue but also the electronic behind the light is HUGE to work correctly correctly with the BMW system and its many modes of dimming it normally goes through

Hey I hear you, if anything I the first one to demand quality and be willing to pay for it especially on my BMW. My question was more specific to GP Thunder bight white halogen replacements that are offered as Angel eyes replacements. I wanted to compare the two. My reasoning for bring in LUX was simply for reference on the correct/popular route that I myself is leaning towards.

GP thunders are nowhere near as bright or as crisp as LED angel eyes. One of my clients recently changed to LED from GP thunder and he claims the difference was night and day during the night.

Guys, I understand that. Take LUX out of the picture for a minute, the first question in my original post was answered. The question now is merely a comparison between GP Thunder Halogen Bight white and the ebay LED H8, I was only curious to see the thought process behind it if someone was to consider going with GP Thunder why not consider the GP Thunder LED one for the same price. I am not going that route, nor do I typicality buy from ebay for my BMW, I will most likely be going with LUX after all the great reviews and positive feed back. this was just a topic for a conversation. Thanks
