Can't break free front O2 sensor on Dp install

Hey,

I can not get the o2 sensors to break free!! I have an oem crows foot that I reneted and also have tried using a wrench, no luck with either. I hit it with some pb blaster and will try again tomorrow A.M.

Are they reverse threaded?
Any Ideas or suggestions on how to loosen these suckers?
Ive searched on the forum and havent found anything.

Thanks

Try to tighten first then the correct way to remove.
Also try a torch.

use a oc sensor socket or a tubbing wrench when you can, any open end or crows feet will round those corners asap.

Are you changing downpipes or just o2 sensor? If you're doing downpipes, just unplug and remove the whole down pipe and swap them outside of the car.

Blow torch & some muscle should loosen it up. The longer wrench you can use, the better (it'll help generate torque)

Thanks for the input! O2 sensors out new down pipes in but not yet finished. They are touching in several places, both each other and the vehicle. From every install thread ive read they say start with the turbo end and attach the vband clamps, so that is what I did. Going to try in the A.M. to loosen the clamps, which are not tight just in place, and attach the midpipes in hopes that they will help guide the pipes to the correct place.

I hate to admit it, but benzy is correct. Heat it up the bung area of the downpipe with a blow torch. The metal will expand and loosen up its grip on the sensor. Just make sure you do not burn your sensor though...
