For sale is my 5" CPE N55 catted down pipe. I bought this about a year ago off of another e90post member to install onto my 2011 335. Long story short, I had the car for about a month and never got to install the pipe. The dp has a cat in it. I decided to go with the catted option, so that I would not have to worry about emissions testing every year.

This pipe will fit N55 335 &135 cars.

This pipe is brand new, with all hardware and instructions from CP-E. You should see this thing in person, the welds are flawless, it is pristine condition and just a marvel of engineering. The dp makes the N55 sound like a damn turbine (in reference to youtube videos).

The cp-e™ 5″ cast stainless downpipe has been designed specifically for the N55 engines to minimize back pressure in the collector and optimize exhaust flow.

The CAD designed castings on both ends of the downpipe are designed to work with a 5” diameter center section. This will be available with and with out a catalyst. The entire system (castings and tube) is made from 304 stainless steel.

We used our FARO CMM (Faro Technologies Coordinate Measuring Machine) to design the downpipe. With our CMM we were able to digitize the model and keep within .010” of the stock flanges and mounting points. In addition to the downpipe being designed in CAD, our fixtures for the manufacturing of the downpipe were also designed in CAD. The fixtures were then laser cut and CNC machined to assure precise fitment, every time.

This extensive process is nearly impossible to replicate with a hand fabricated part.

The 5″ downpipe may be installed without any permanent modifications, and is available with or without a cp-e™ custom designed high-flow catalytic converter.

Is this a direct fit with no other modification?

Yes, direct fit. It is a little tight in there to install, however no cutting or welding required. This dp can run directly into the stock exhaust. All hardware, gaskets, bolts necessary are included.
