It's the only one (as of yet...) that is on the weekend.

I also just realized I won't be doing all 3 days at BAB in August. Will have to settle for Sat & Sun

Signup for the WG is open. A bunch of people (37) have already signed up.
The Friday is Lapping and open to advanced drivers only.
Since the level of the cars is high, since I have never been to WG, I will sign up for the Sat and Sun only. Travel Friday and Monday.

Care to join?
Over 15 days of track is A LOT

R compound

Joel, I heard those R compound rubbers need to be stored in a warm place, don't leave them in your garage, as freezing temperatures will ruin them.

I know there's nothing much to do in the evening, we're talking only 1 day of track with Viper Club, so we won't be sticking around after. But when you get to know the track, that from a guy who did only 2 days there , it's just so exhilarating to feel the car dance from one corner to the next, driving this track is just like dancing. The curves just flows from one to the next.

Geez.We never found a problem with finding things to do up there at night! There are 2 really good places for dinner one being at the Peaks and the other being Castlegarth in White Lake which is only about 20 minutes away.but then again we are old and are in bed early

http://www.castlegarth.ca/Castlegarth/Home.html

I also love the track and 2 days a year is not enough so this year I will try to be there with more frequency.

Thanks for the scoop, I'll look that up next time I'm there. How about lively bars? The only one I know is next to the Calabogie Motor Inn, pretty much country music with local folks and their SUVs, but beer is reasonably cheap....

We stay at the Highland Golf Course most of the time and rent the Villas and do our partying there.
It works out quite well and usually works out to about $50/person and it is 10 minutes to the track or you can rent right at the track.

http://www.highlandsgolfclubs.com/calvill-home.htm

There is another place just up from the Inn on 509 Shooters that is good to go for Refreshment & Food.I know this area well as we have spent a fair bit of time there in the winter sledding & biking over the years

i renewed my bmw qc membership and i am kind of regretting it now cos i have a feeling that i wont have much time to do any events with bmw this yr. Looks like the 2 lcmt events with viper and the watkins event may be it for me this summer. Have a busy summer ahead of me. Gotta get working on my thesis,

If it's possible, It could be transfered to me since I haven't paid yet and I will do events with Quebec, Ottawa and Patroon clubs this year.
Verify with Henry... I'll pay you back if it's transferable.
