Ok so I basically ripped the diverter valve hose off of the intake manifold and the nipple broke off with it.... anybody have any suggestions....

Not good my friend. Have to take out the intake manifold and either replace it entirely which is expensive OR drill it out and JB weld a brass nipple into it And hope it will hold. Search threads about it but this is one costly mistake.

how much broke off? You may be able to plug that hole and then use a different vaccum source off of the manifold. An existing one or you can drill and tap a brass nipple. That would be my suggestion. I am guessing a new manifold is not cheap.

Do you have a picture of how much broke off?

There are no other vacuum ports on the intake. You'll have to drill and tap a brass fitting into the manifold. You'll have to remove Otto do so, but that's not hard to do. This is why it's best to take the line apart at the y splice point for the bovs. Then this can't happen...

It's plastic. It probably won't cost alot. It's the labor replacing it...

Best advice is to use a razor blade and cut off the diverter valve nose that connects to the DV nipples...The little that you have cut off will not make a difference at all...This will prevent ALL possibilites of ever tugging or pulling the hose at all when disconnecting the hoses...

Did this last week. Not that big a deal. Go to autozone and get 5 min plastic epoxy. Then dremel sand whatever to have a good surface to work with. Then mix up your epoxy and gobb that stuff over the hole n manifold and piece that broke. Use a drill bit of he appropriate size to hold pressure as it cures and keep the hole open. You can wait about 2.5 mi utes it should be setting enough to let off pressure. Then just keep drill bit moving to keep glue from plugging hole. I did this last week easy to fix if done right.
