My car is absolutely filthy and when I went to the laser wash during lunch it was "out of order"

What is with these vehicle/train collisions lately? Like you can't see a big, honking train coming?

Here locally one guy made a right turn early of the intersection and drove 80' with a trailer (welding) behind down the tracks before jumping out. He was "looking for a way to get off the tracks" is what his lawyer says. PD picked him up running 1.5 miles away from the crash. The engineer, who stayed on the emergency brake until the collision, died the other day from his injuries.
The other one, not more than a mile away, the person "spun out" on the rain slick track crossing. How she didn't spin out to a place that wasn't in front of the train is beyond me. |

One of my buddies is a volunteer firefighter and he responds to a train collision at least once a month. He says that by far the two most common vehicles that get hit are lowered sedans and long pickup trucks, the reason being that they bottom out on the train track humps and get beached.

I don't much care for spicy food. That being said, I am willing to put up with a certain amount of spicy for good flavor. However spicy for the sake of spicy is just ridiculous to me. Just go sandpaper your tongue.

On the other hand, you have sauces that are WAY hotter than anything found in nature. Most of them are made from capsaicin extracts. They're novelty sauces basically. Those I don't care for because as you pointed out there's no flavor, only heat. And some of them are melt-your-face hot; if you gave them to an unsuspecting person then there is a very real chance that they will freak out on you, vomit or pass out. |

My family says to sell my Grateful Dead tix for $$$$. It sounds good in principle, but they don't understand I have enough money and would rather enjoy the show. My mom doesn't get it that 7 or 8 k is play money.....

Got the exact address for the show? Your limo driver will need it.

Went to rinse out my coffee cup at the office and water splashed on the front of my pants. I feel like I should wear a sign that says, "It's only water."
Maybe it'll dry before anyone sees me.

Exactly what I fear. But it's dry already.
I once had a pair of Dockers (I think they were) that were touted as being stain resistant. A waiter at a Chicago restaurant spilled a large glass of Coke right in my lap. I stood up and used the napkin to brush it all off me. No stain, no wet spot. Like it never happened. Both the waiter and my lunch guest were amazed. So was I. But I haven't seen those pants for sale anywhere since.

I hate it when my Keyless Entry won't work when it gets really cold. Makes me look dumb when I yank on the door and it won't open, then I have to dig my keys out of my pocket like a common plebe.

So I have been driving an X1 as a loaner for a while now. Nice car, but a bit of a step down for what I'm paying for the car I'm supposed to be driving Looking on the bright side (lots of practice with this, lol) at least I beat up this loaner over the pothole ridden streets of NY and keep my car salt free until the weather and streets get back to a tolerable state!
