E90 330i Project
So I started modding the 330i, got my Porsche and a company car, so this is really the family wagon, so there was compromise with various parts, and I still have some yet to do.
So far, full respray with conversion to m sport bumpers, with carbon rear diffuser, then Koni str t suspension kit, along with style 95's, rear windows tinted, not sure yet but I think it may be too dark. Anyway, did all that and then it's rained everyday since, so no photos yet but I will get some taken and get them up ASAP. What I do have pics of though is the custom exhaust I had made up, first up props to Dave at Southampton tyres and exhaust (power flow dealer), I knew what I wanted and despite it not being straight forward he built exactly what I wanted! I wanted non rolled tips, and not too much noise, so they fitted a small back box in rather than completely deleting it as I've seen some other people do, all worked out really well, it makes a lovely noise when on the pedal and not much louder than usual when cruising As soon as it stops raining and I get time to clean her up I will post pics, and before anyone says dark lines, I know they will be ordered ( from eBay.de ) as soon as Christmas is done! |

Also forgot to mention, after deciding on full respray over just bumpers and bonnet I couldn't bring myself to spend out on a PE or Eisenmann, this cost me about half what either of those cost.

Was rushing to fit blacklines at work and took some quick pictures with my phone, car is seriously dirty.
I also mounted my IPad mini and got dash command up and running. Not sure how to work it all but it seems to be a well thought out app |

I bought it about 6-8weeks ago, and at the time i could only get it from the us, but to be fair, the postage wasnt expensive, and they marked it as a $20 item so no import duty etc. The kit is the koni str-t kit (koni dampners with H&R springs), fairly new to the range i believe and i couldnt find anyone actually running it on an e90, i held off for a while hoping someone would take the plunge. In the end i just went for it, cost me about £370, and so far i would say its possibly the best Value suspension kits ive ever bought. They advertise a 35-40mm drop in the front and 25mm on the back, i havent measured it but it sits about right, speed bumps so far cause no issues, although i did touch the front on a kerb when parking front end in quickly the other day, ride is a little harsher on the 19"s but feels much the same on the 17"s |
