Entered my E91 in a sprint!

Hey guys , thought you might like to have a little read on this ,

First time using the bmw in anger and it was an eventful day out!

I had done the normal service items before taking the car to the track and to be fair bar after 10mins of lapping the car was doing fine! no brake fade which was my main concern!

Its a 335d , so a big tank of a car , but its about 400bhp and 635ftlbs , bar that its completely standard bar having ds2500 front pads in it and it has m3 front arms and the front end set up m3 camber and toe wise

it was handeling fantastic , but sadly my 18" rims with r888's on it let me down! , front was fine but the rear tyres had sadly been cooked so i had little no no grip on the rear

that said made for the following interesting video!

i then decided to change the wheels around and put my daily 19" on the rear! , gained a second right away with them! but then disater struck and i picked up a puncture!

cue this video! lol

all in all put in a very respectable time in the final 25th out of 60 odd which really isnt bad going considering most of the competition was fully track prepped cars!

here is an outside clip of me coming out the hair pin and then the last clip is the tyre popping of the rim

not sure if facebook will work with these links

YES!!!!

I love what you do with your car. Fantastic! Inspirational!

400hp and 635Tq looks like fun - not many North American E91s steering the tail using throttle.

GoPro HD looks excellent. This is the best wagon video I've seen.

There aren't many E91s on the track. They may be far from an ideal track machine, but they're also far better than many cars on the track.

Keep it up!

Thanks !

I just wish the gearbox would do what its told , like i can understand the not shifting down for over revs sake , but when you get a powerslide on the go and you rev it to close to the red line it then changes up , my dad '15 520d has that fantastic zf 7 speed box that is awesome!

haha the financial mistake is a rolling joke , it actualy says financial mistake 2 as this is my first mistake! lol
