335i to 335is exhaust
Now that I have the PPK1 installed,
is there an option or a way to bring my current 335i to the S level? Or is this already an S system now and no need to modify further? I read that the "pack" is different in the S. Thx ahead!

You only have to change the engine now...
The 335is is a twinturbo engine (N54). Yours is a twinpower engine (N55). Or what actually do you mean??? |

I only mean, I read that the pack was different and was looking for "any" option to bring my car to an S level. Thx.

You can still do alot of things that will bring more than a stock "is"
I would go for the performance exhaust for a next tune! It combines excellent with your PPK1 |

IS level, no DP or extreme mods. I have searched and read all those threads. Really wondering if a muffler change out with less pack would be the answer or do I really need to spend the big bucks for the Performance Exhaust? Anybody look into this before?

You have an n55, not an n54.
That limits you to about 390 rwhp with the following mods: FMIC CP METHANOL INJECTION CM10 Nozzle BMS CAI TUNE (BMS Stage 2 or PROcede with N55 Maps) CATLESS DP AXLE-BACK Freeflow exhaust E85/93 Octane or 93 Octane and NOS w/ MMT The exhaust alone will not get you there, it "may" yield 8-10 rwhp - same as a CAI. You need to be more drastic with an n55 to get actual performance. As stated earlier: (harder). The above is the best you can do at this point w/o swapping the actual turbo on a 55.*

I am not looking to be that aggressive. Just simple changes that bring me to only an IS level that won't void the warranty.

It is pretty difficult to answer your question...
You have a different Engine as a IS, so you can't have the same specs without voiding warranty! Do you now understand the answer... |

Do the performance exhaust. Other than the fact that the IS is n54, next biggest differences is exhaust, oil cooler i think...? and aesthetic mods.

How would a 335 n55 with exhaust, suspension and ppk fair against the is?
It really comes down to dct and the over boost function right? Or does ppk have overboost? Anyway how much affect do y'all think that has? |
