Hom many miles do I need on a brand new E92 before doing my first baseline dyno run before adding all of my mods and comparing gains?

Can I do this right at 1200 miles once I break-in or do I have to wait longer. I really don't know if I can wait any longer before adding exhaust, procede, etc. but I would really like to have a baseline dyno to determine how much power gains I get from mods

I'd drive the car a minimum of 500 miles first.
But you'll get a better "baseline" dyno result the more miles you put on the car.

Even though most manufacturers say "break in"miles are 1000-1500 miles, that DOES NOT mean the engine is fully broken in and making the most power then.
What they are telling you is it is now OK to run the car hard.

But in my experience and view, engines won't start making their full power until they have at least 5,000 miles on it.

But I'd say they are making 95 or so % of it by 1000 miles already.

So if all else is equal, you might get 5-6 more hp on your car if you wait until it has at least 5,000 miles on it than you would if you dyno it at 500-1000 miles.

If I were you, I'd try driving the car for 1000-1200 miles first, then get your baseline.
Again, whatever you get, you could probably safely assume you'd get 5 more if your car had several thousand more miles on it.

BTW, I now believe in the drive it like you normally would "break in" procedure.
Meaning, don't be afraid to run it to redline every once in awhile during the first 1200 miles either.
