As a younger member i understand whats going on here with the mods but i dont think ive ever seen so much hate on the forum before which i think is really sad.. He asked for help and im sure hes realized you guys dont like his car.
I personally dont think the hood looks good carbon with the silver so maybe have it painted.. along with the wheels they would look much better gloss black. and getting spacers would fill out the gap.. like the idea with the stripes but its not an M car so id take them off i understand being 17 you just want to mod but keep it clean. |

I think the neon lighting inside is nifty. I think the sound system most likely thumps. I think that matte black hood, roof and trunk look ridiculous as do the stripes and windscreen advertising. However, if someone is paying you to have your car look like that, I can understand why you did it.

Best advice, get it back to stock until you have a job and can afford better mods.

Oh yeah... His other thread is pretty funny too. I'd love to get free downpipes, a free intercooler, free everything!!! But all I have to do is find a sponsor? Really!!? What have I been doing all this time spending my own money for mods, I feel stupid now! I could have got all this shit for free!

I'm gonna give you some real advice. If you can't afford to make the car's appearance better, just leave it stock. That is what I am doing because I'm relatively young as well. I can't tell you how bad I'd love to do a full M-Sport conversion with an Arkym lip and diffuser finished off with some wheels, LCI tails, and an OEM performance spoiler but I simply can't afford it. I'm going to either wait and save, or not do those things at all. The point is modding just for the sake of modding is never a good idea.
Btw, your mods are not an "age" thing. There are some VERY tastefully done cars on this forum which are owned by members under 20 years old. |
