Did you drive the car to the event or trailer it?

Everyone please drive around tomorrow on your daily route keeping your car at 3K rpms. I mean all the time. You will see how hard that is. Hey for the right car, that you dont have to drive to work everyday, I am all for it! Shiv built a bad ass car. 600+ RWHP = insane!

Even at 2000rpm, this engine has enough torque to be perfectly drivable. We aren't talking about a heavily boosted low compression 2L here. We have a high compression 3L. It's never torque-less.

Oh, and the car was hitting ~170mph at the end of the half mile

And it never missed a beat!!

Would be interesting to know how fast it can go on standing mile

6 hour drive home for a 700 mile round trip (=350 miles home)? I thought this car was fast? That should take 4 hours max.

lol... we stopped on the way back to the bay 4 or 5 times (hooters, Starbucks twice, for dinner, etc,.) It was pathetic, our stop at Starbucks was 2 hrs old because everyone wanted us to upload videos!

Hopefully, it will arrive at the dealership towards the end of the week. And then we'll need a couple of days to modify the Procede firmware to work with it. Until then, we are keeping things capped at 20psi. Still plenty fast

This is true. Shiv gave me a ride after the event and given that this turbo is going into my daily driver, I asked for him to go WOT at lower RPMs as well so I could experience how much lag I would be in for.

He did a couple pulls...and flooring it around 3,000 RPM, the sound is intense...hisses like a snake for a few seconds until it hit 4,200 RPM and unleashes this unbelievable rush of acceleration. The acceleration under low boost was similar to the stock turbo + Procede 11-25 aggressive maps except the stock turbo car will be at full spool ~ 3,500 RPM. Shiv mentioned that once everything is worked out, it should spool quicker (plus we were at 1,700 feet which causes a little lag as well) so perhaps with this single, we will get full boost around 3,700 RPM or so which would make for a fantastic daily driver.

Can the "smaller" turbo start pulling at 3K RPM?

@blisstik - that's what i'm going for on the smaller turbo, I'm trying to get it to match with the natural RPM range of the 6AT. Hopefully, i'll overlay my stock turbo FBO dyno plots with the new single turbo setup.
