Added a pic of my other car. The intercooler is huge in comparison. 32"X12"X4" with about 80% off that exposed. It has been installed for about 30k miles in that pic and never till this day straightened out a single fin. It probably has close to 40k-50k on it now.

Luckily no damage was done and I just had to pop the grill back in place. (To be clear the bird was dead)

Another reason to have a grill... I am not liking this trend. I guess it's a good thing I have my grill though.

I gotta agree that the mesh really should stay in place to protect the intercooler. I think a big intercooler behind the mesh looks fine. Removing the mesh to expose the intercooler is just so HONDA in my personal opinion.
Think of it this way: When the stripper with huge tits comes up to you in a top that barley covers her jugs, you just can't help but wonder what they look like. You want her. You want to take her for a spin. You get excited! So you shell out $20 for a lap dance. But when she takes her top off, you realize that you just wasted $20. Her tits looks and feel like every other pair of tits. FUCK! Same thing with the mesh and intercooler. You can kinda see that big ass intercooler behind the mesh and you get excited. But once the inter-cooler is fully exposed, you lose excitement. I'm drunk. Goodnight.
