Ok the 20th is Fathers Day. That might make it hard for some.....like me..... that have family stuff going on that weekend. My vote would be Sunday the 27th. At least it gives an extra week to get the word out to. I agree there are not that many followers up in this area.

Ya, didn't realize that was father's day. Ok, so 6/27 is our first meet. We got the date, now its the location we gotta pull together.

You guys wanna do a Stamford one first since its shows signs of having a bigger group in that area?

Maybe our fellow new yorkers can join us to really start off our CT meet with a bang?

My bias notwithstanding, Stamford or somewhere else in lower Fairfield county is definitely the way to go if people are looking to draw from NY/NJ. Thing is, I see tons of tastefully modded bimmers around Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan, even if they aren't e90/92s. Today alone I saw a white M6 vert on schnitzers w exhaust, a super clean LSB e46 M3 on 19s with a nice drop and SS race, and a tiag E46 M3 vert w/drop and ZCPs, and I've only driven 15 mins today. They are certainly out there, they just need to know.

PS, I seem to recall there being a cars and coffee held regularly somewhere near Norwalk or thereabouts. I think it is/was more of a classic car crowd, but I could be wrong. Anyone know anything about it?

Never heard of that and i live in Norwalk, but there defiantly could be something like that. And yeah theres some crazy bimmers around here saw a all matte black M5 the other day.

Well how many of us should we expect? We could make it a true cars and coffee and meet at the dunkin donuts right off the Long Ridge Road exit on the Merritt in Stamford. The parking lot above it has around 30-40 spots. It's a nice venue (looks more like a house than offices), in a nice driving area, yet still centrally located.

There is nothing in that area though (I live way up high ridge in Stamford), if you put it in Cove you have a much nicer setting backdrop, barely off i-95, and if you decide you want to leave for a little you can just walk down to the beach. If you want coffee, we just bring like 12 of those giant to-go things from dunkin donuts and the works.

I really don't care where we put it, but I am worried that if it goes down in Cove on a Sunday,
a--they may be enforcing summer parking passes meaning people with no pass need to pay (either $5 or $10 I think?)
b--on a Sunday, may be crowded as shit

There's also alot of parking over by cummings beach in the shippan area.

Like I said it really doesn't matter, but Cove would definitely be the spot if some details (coughparkingspacescough) got ironed out... Don't know if you could leave it to fate, I forget if the lot gets crowded down by the docks

You guys down there know best. If we have to pay for pass not sure if I am up for that. But it looks nice down there. Plus I dont want to run out of parking spots if just in case a lot of people show up.

This sounds like a good idea. Why don't we go here for our initial meet and head down and we can discuss any beach/cove options once we all get together?

Do you have an address you can get some of us so we can just plug to our GPS.

What are you guys thinking of a meet time?
9:00am-11:00.. 11:00 cruise to beach for pics.
we'll finish around 12:30 just in time for lunch?

There's plenty around that dunkin donuts...lakeside diner, etc. Plus it's right off the Merritt, making it easy to navigate there for people coming from further away. The other thing about the cove area is the relatively high number of cops.
