I am just afraid to even look at the price. Looks promising as far as function is concerned... but Steve is pretty proud of his products

Seeing as most intakes run about $400... it'll be around $2,000 for Dinan

I'm told it will be under $1000 but we'll see...originally it was supposed to be in the $500 range but then they decided to make some the pieces in Carbon Fiber, which naturally drove the price up.

I think that this intake combined with some scoops will be the best of both worlds, keeping stock filtration and yet getting more, cooler air.

Ya I was thinking around 950-1200. I bet they added the CF to help justify the price since it wasn't really much more than the plastic. Either way they are just molding some plastic/CF and it will cost about 4x more than it should. I can "sorta" understand with some stuff because of the "warranty" but I mean an intake? Not much there to break or cause break-age.

Think I am just gonna get a cheap DCI and wait for the turbo upgrade/s. Those will actually come with complete new "intakes" and not just modified pipes/cones to fit the stock tiny little tubes going to the turbos.

I believe they put the carbon fiber pieces in there due to demand in their target market.

Unfortunatelly, dont expect to see a carbon and non-carbon version. I'm guessing the price will be right around $999.

I heard it's going to cost around $25 million plus the sacrifice of a goat. And then on top of all that, you only get to use the intake for a half-hour before they take it back.

You'll have to sell a kidney for one of them. Dinan is way overpriced.

I also heard it's gonna be around 7-800....I heard they added CF because parts of the original plastic one were melting during testing.......

I read someone's post on this thread about turbo upgrades? Is that a Dinan turbo upgrade?

larger turbos from dinan will cost at least a million.
and they will be lucky to be as fast as a JB3 on map 9
