Oh, the anticipation!

After test driving a 335xi on May 10, I absolutely fell in love with it. The CA was finished paperwork on a sale, so I got to take it out by myself. Mwah hah hah!!! I drove it for 50 minutes and when I returned, the CA joked that I was gone so long, he thought I had stolen it. This is a major purchase and I had to be sure. I ordered my 335xi on May 15. My CA gave me a production number the next day and told me the production week is 23. I called the 800 number today and it does not have a confirmed production date, yet. Not panicking, though, but this "one day at a time" stuff is going to be rough.

Also, I received an incredible sale price ($419 below invoice based on current pricing - $1,094 below invoice w/ the extra $675 price increase for my car and options starting June 1), and the General Manager guaranteed in writing that neither my selling price nor total out-the-door costs will increase with the new pricing effective June 1. I hope I don't get screwed over with this one. The weather's getting hotter and the wait is painful...

Lol the wait must be killing you huh? It's definitely worth it though.

congrats. the waiting is tough. my e92 335xi should be arriving at the panama canal today.

Thx! Because of cost, I was most likely going to get a G37s, but the crappy gas mileage made me continue looking. When I test drove the xi, my search was over. After being turned on to bimmer forums, I'm considering mods now, mostly cosmetic to begin with. I think the 335 looks great with a front spoiler and subtle rear wing. Trying to decide what I like the most.

BMW needs to have a support group for those of us that have to order it 5 weeks is way to long..
