M sport front bumper (aftermarket or OEM) with AA intercooler
I'm buying a bone stock 2008 Montego Blue e335i coupe (e92). Really excited!
My first mods are going to be a M sport front bumper (see picture below) and I'd like to add an AA intercooler, AA down pipes, and tune. First off, would you guys recommend getting a used OEM front bumper or a new aftermarket front bumper? From what I can tell, many aftermarket M sport front bumpers look identical once painted and as long as they are made of the same OEM material, I may as well just get a new aftermarket bumper with all the little pieces to make install easy. Second, where do you recommend I buy the aftermarket M sport front bumper? Is there a particular vendor offering a higher quality replica? Third, how is install. I've read that "removal/trimming of oil cooler ducts & brake ducts" may be required. I sure don't plan on removing the necessary ducting to keep my car operating correctly. Were you able to keep the stock ducting in place to keep cooling efficient? If you had to modify, how hard was it? And last, but most important, I really want to run the AA race intercooler. From what I can tell from searching on the forum, it looks like an AA race intercooler will work with the M sport front bumper, but I wanted to double check and see if anyone has some photos of their AA race intercooler with M sport front bumper.

Firstly, you wont find a msport from in montego blue so you would have to paint regardless..oem is always better in my opinion but they arent easy to find used and if so they usually sell quick. Best bang for the buck would just be to get a rep from our vendor on here jgmods...the bumpers are basically equal quality to oem and less expensive. Check this link for a little review from a member http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=811782 Also dont have experience with the AA intercooler, but i dont see why it wouldnt fit with the bumper. May require some trimming but that would be minor and thats typical with all larger intercoolers.
