The KW website pics isn't for the e90 thats for sure, and the set in your pics looks like like the KW V2 that fit the e90. But I dont know how to see the difference between V2 and V3.

Based on that picture, they look identical to V3 for the Xi.

The part numbers on the shocks can be verified when you call KW.

Here's a pic of a brand new set from member 18LLC. The lower shaft, similar the ones shown in you picture does exist on two of the shocks when packaging is removed:

I figured out they are V3 for i.
They look really identical to V3 for xi tho, part number were different.

So, if part number is
200 1015, 1115 = V3 for i
200 1020, 1115 = V3 for xi.
Depends on my research, they use same springs and struts for rear, xi get longer bump stop for front(50mm for xi, 35mm for i. Springs are same)

Thanks Remmib, Ray and 18LLC.

Poor Tom lol (He going to get bombarded by emails), check your part numbers as mentioned (try to contact your authorized dealer whom you recevied it from) . It is best way to do it. BTW XI version is more expensive then the non-xi version by like $200.

And the shock bodies are the same? That in theory would mean that non-xi coilovers can phisically bolt up to an xi car, even if the bump stops or spring rates are different. This may be very good news

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figure it's better than creating a new one. Was this ever confirmed that 200 1015, 1115 is the KW V3s? I have a set of KW on's my car that were on them when I bought it, and the previous owner had no knowledge of them. I'm curious which variant they are so I can buy a set of spanner wrenches for them so I can adjust the height a bit. The sticker on the side says KW 200 1015 in the front and 200 1115 in the rear. Are these V3s? Also, where can I buy replacement wrenches from?

If you have a damping adjustment at the top of the stantion and another adjustment at the bottom of the shock body (through a slot on the rear or Allen key on the front), they are V3.
