Was at a fancy restaurant (Andrew Nutters place) on Sunday for lunch and spotted this little beauty parked outside. Don't think it was him as there was a RRS with the reg.plate 1 NUT outside unless he's got two motors.

I did wonder but don't know enough about them to spot one. That said, if you were going to see a real one, it could be perceivable to see one there. The restaurant is perched up above Rochdale in the hills, some great roads to bomb it around on, and given the place in question, some wealth. You're right though, quite likely a replica.

It does not look right at all. It's lines are too squashed up.

F17 GTO is insured as a Porsche 944.

I remember somebody on the Porsche forum when I had my 944 that fitted a GTO kit so I'm guessing that's it. Certainly a real GTO could not wear an 1989 registration plate and the exhausts aren't right either.
