mine has it but ive just picked up some s/h mirrors in shadowline black and wondered before i fit them if they will have the dip function.

On the E90 you only get the dipping mirror if you get:
- full electric seats
or
- folding mirrors

Probably the same on the E92, but this is BMW so who knows.

And the mirror only dips is the adjustment selector switch is in one position, left or right, but can't remember which one... I thought it was right but it might be left like briers said.

uhhh....my left mirror dips if my switch is set to the right....

and vice versa
