while i was in DC this past weekend, I saw 2 cars run the light at K street as you drive over the waterfront area and both were running reds...

These camera regimes are so annoying.

The City of Alexandria, where I live, has recently started up their red light camera system. Amazingly, the city manager said that the "red light camera program is not considered a core public safety service."

It's just another revenue stream. Personal property taxes, 3% sales tax, city tax, parking fee, city car registration fee, etc, etc etc - when does it stop?
