BMW meet BBQ\Ice cream cruise
August Saturday the 13th
3pm - 6pm
@ Chalco Hill Recreation Area
15160 Cornhusker Rd, Omaha, NE 68138
then cruise to the "Ice cream cruise"- Sonic on 90th & Maple

Since members arent really active as far as posting on these threads I see it hard to plan as to who is bringing what to the BBQ so Im just going to say bring your own food\drinks lol
I myself will bring hamburger patties, buns, bag of chips and some drinks, you guys are more than welcome to whatever I bring.

So the plan is to BBQ at chalco hills for a few hours then around 6ish those of us that are going to the ice cream cruise will caravan down there.
For those of you that have never heard of the ice cream cruise, its a huge car meet\cruise with a pre-planned rout around Omaha, it's usually about an hour's drive, maps are passed out before the cruise. last year there were about 500cars, allot of out of state cars come up just for this.

If you guys don't want to BBQ and have suggestions on a different location for the BMW meet part of the day, post up. If not, I will edit this post with a map of the BBQ area where we would meet up at and I will post the info on the other forums.

Ya i think zorinsky is a bad idea for lack of a lake haha they drained it a while ago and havnt filled it back up yet. chalco hills may be a better idea.

I'll be attending as always..However, it seems like people always complain that they didnt come to these events, but they don't make an attempt to show. Our posts always get several hits.. come out and meet some new people. I've always had a good time.

Thursday bump! Most of the action is going on in FB, looks like big group from Euro Nebraska and Euro Omaha are coming, should be a good meet, see you guys there, Starky (white e90) and I will try and be there a little early to reserve our area
