Does anyones heated seat burn them?
Recently I have been using my heated seats on the regular since it has been cold here lately. In the past week I have noticed on a couple of occasions that when the heated seat is on high I get a burning feeling, right before the thigh extension on the back on my leg? Has anyone else experienced this? Is this something I should be concerned about or get looked at?

Oh yes i had this on my old 545, it was horrible the bottom of right side of the seat would get so effin hot i had to turn it off. Dealer said had to replace the seat bottom for 1400 bucks. If your under 4/50 it should be covered

Never go on mode 3 haha honestly it just hurts. When it's around 30-45 degrees F, I just use mode 1 to warm up. Unless I've been outside for a long time, I rarely even go on mode 2. A major first world problem when our car seat heaters are 'too hot'

I have pre-lci e90 325 and yes it gets hot as hell! I usually just put it put it on mode 3 to warm it up fast either bring it down to mode 2 or 2.
Funny story though: I was hanging with a friend of mine who happens to have a big sexy booty and I have the seat warmer on number 3, after a while I asked her if it was too hot. She said "No, you know I got plenty of meat there, it needs to stay warm." lol |

usually keep them on 1 setting. At 3 it does get quite warm.

I wish mine got hotter - particularly when the temps are in the teens or lower. I thought they weren't working properly after I sold the Audi, where setting 4 out of 6 was plenty hot for me, and bought the BMW. The dealer checked them out and they got up to "normal operating temperature."

I never run mine less than 3.
Maybe dependent on pant material/thickness

I always put mine at Level 3 (hottest)... in jeans, basketball shorts (coming from gym), sweats. Feels too damn good, wish they got hotter though.
