evotech stage 3

Hi,

I am looking to modify my 335i to get more power out of it. I was wondering if anyone has evotech stage 3 on their cars?

found this performance local shop and would like some input; I would like to have ~340whp and ~370wtq:

http://www.dynocomp.com/details.php?...=90#detail_328

any other shops that someone would recommend i should look at?

Thanks

Expensive. Check out any other main tune on this site. More power, less money.

^^^this man speaks the truth. Plus you'll have thousands of users running any one of the main 3 tunes, so support issues are often solved by a quick search.

Way too expensive. COBB, Procede, JB4 are all better options

Thanks for the fast replies. I spoke to the tuner before and it sounded like they were going to give me a better deal on it. I did some research and found cobb accessport, i like it because of the ease of use. Is it possible to get close to 350whp and 370wtq with cobb on crappy octane 91? I seen the numbers with stage 1 (extra ~60whp and ~70wtq). I think i would need stage 2 to get close to the number im looking for, correct? i was told that downpipes (AR, active autowerke), intercooler (AR, AMS, active autowerke) plus drop in filter (BMC,Afe, K&N) will give the most increase in power.

Thanks

Stage 1+ will give you more power than Stage 2 (which requires downpipes). Also more consistent power because of lower IATs especially if you live in a warm place.
For that you need an aftermarket intercooler like Helix or ETS . There are much more around just search.

Otherwise go All in with IC, dps and intake and run Stage 2+ which will net you over 90 whp.

340/370

If you are only looking to make 340/370 I can assist you with that. With ONLY the Procede installed you will make around 350~360whp and 370~380wtq. Procede will give you consistent power run after run and it is certainly one of the most powerful and safe tune. If you have any specific questions you would like to know about what we offer send me a pm/call us/email us and I will be able to assist you.

Regards,
Robert@Vishnu

The Stage1+FMIC maps he is referring to has tuning to take advantage of the benefits of an aftermarket intercooler. It's in the map description on your AP once you transfer the map file to your unit.

I was under the impression he meant a Stage 1+ with required mods (Aftermarket FMIC) would perform better then a Stage 2 (with aftermarket Downpipes).

i really like cobb as it gives decent power and its so much easier to use. I am not sure how my dealer would react if they see a module (Jb4 or proceede) inside the engine..
