Best run was my first a 12.88 at 111.67 on street tires and 6mt with a 2.2 60ft. The launches were fine but when I put it in second the car would spin so bad I thought I was gonna hit the wall.. Believe it or not.. The track was TOO cold.. Weather perfect.. track not so much. That time isn't even my best and it was 58 degrees as opposed to my best in 78 degree weather. Had 4 runs in the 12s just couldn't get the car to stick in second. What good is 400+ Lbs ft of tq if you can't use it.

Hmmm...good times, NYC, but I really would've expected to see better times from you (especially in the cold, dry weather) considering all the Vip Tuning mods you have on your car. At 58 degrees F / ~ 55% R.H., the track wasn't too cold; it was perfect!

It was 58 at 7:00 it was 48-50 the rest of the night.. my best time was in 58 degree weather.. I just couldn't hook. My best trap was a 112 though. As it got colder.. it became spin city. A lot of people just gave up. It was the last time I am gonna go to the track in my 335.. and last time i will drive it before removing everything off of it.

But the point is.. I went out there thinking it would be the best night for racing... and I came home knowing it wasn't... Along with every other person that didn't have drag radials on.

this morning I had no traction. Through frst and sec gear its just to cold to hooked up and go. I have Michelin ps2's so I shoulnt of had that much trouble

didn't you run a 12.8 with a 1.8 60ft? I ran a 12.8 with a 2.2 60ft. 12.8 is not really that impressive for my car which is why I am not too pleased with it. But I had better 60fts in warmer weather. Not to bench race, but what do you think my time might have been with a 1.8 60ft..(all things considered I don't believe I could manage a 1.8 with a manual, no lsd, and street tires) Truthfully, I will admit the amount of Tq my car puts down doesn't matter if I can't control/handle it. Obviously the amount yours puts down is more practical.

My 60ft. was actually 1.94 sec. (not too far off), and yes, you can see my best ET and my best trap speed in my sig; but this was of course in mid Dec., '07 during much warmer and more humid weather...a balmy temp of ~ 75 degrees and very humid ~ 75-80% R.H. If I ran faster than you during those conditions (and you supposedly have > 400RWHP / > 400 lb.-ft. RWTQ) and you'd like to bench race, then what do you think my ET and trap would be last night had I gone?????

Not trying to be rude or bench race at all, but with your car's power (via all those "phenomenal" Vip Tuning mods from Jacque), I would've expected you to run in the 12.4x-12.6x sec. @ 113+mph. Remember, my car just has PROcede v2 and a BMC Air Filter; you have a Vip Tuned XEDE, a Vip intake, custom exhaust, DPs, charge pipe...what else? How do you feel about Jacque these days? Has he really delivered what he promised?

Wow, I bet you guys loved racing in the cold weather. I, too, went to the dragstrip thinking "yay its cold out I'll get some good runs in!" I go to Orlando Speed World and they tell me this: "Uh its too cold out, we aren't opening tonight." I could not f**king believe it. It was the most ridiculous reason I have ever heard. Its not like it was going to be 10 degrees out. Every single person was in disbelief that they would not run in the high 40s. All the race gas I put in my car before hand went to waste.

point i am trying to make is you may not have seen your best time last night due to traction. i have hit a 2 flat in warmer weather. couldn't come close last night. i won't sit here and defend or bash vip. nor did i choose to bash or question your tuning decisions. so i would appreciate a bit more discretion when posting in response to my times.

If you are still running on shitty run flats the difference in traction is very minimal compared to the impact on your trap speed when it's cold out. I have my best times when its colder and my best 60' when it was colder. Just my opinion.
