Yup right by Raleigh, there are a few options on meeting places, I lived there a few years back so you peeps that live there. Home in. I was thinking south point mall has a HUGE parking lot. It's near allot of food and the Highway.... Any suggestions from people of the bull city?

I might be able to make something this Saturday. Also, southpoint is a pretty good midpoint for the entire durham, chapel hill, raleigh, and cary area.

FYI, and not to discourage the above possible gathering, but

In between Raleigh and Durham, there's a standing "Cars 'n Coffee" where car enthusiasts of all makes/models gather.

It's in a Barnes & Noble parking lot about a mile due east of RDU airport in a strip mall. There's a Carabu Coffee right there, if you want the caffeine hot.


First Saturday of each month; 8am - 11 am (ish)

I have been to the cars and coffe before a few times in charlotte and it was very enjoyable. Though I have no prolblem going to raleigh I figured that durham is a good central point for those in Raleigh, G-boro, and winston. Plus I would like to get to see some of our E-90 brothers and learn some things. Let me know guys....

Unfortunately Cars and Coffee Raleigh was kicked out of Brier Creek. Last I heard some of the clubs are working on a new location but I don't know where yet. Also there are a bunch of rumors of why it was shut down, but ultimately I think a few knuckleheads including a ferrari driver started doing burnouts, etc. at the end of the meets. It was fun to see all of the different cars though.

Wow, I missed that memo. Too bad. There were some nice cars showing up from time to time.

I don't know why I"m surprised tho, that eventually one or two immature 'little kids showing off' would have incredibly poor judgement -- and ruin it for the rest. One problem with the CnC concept is that there isn't any way exclude such.

That's unfortunate. I was there this last CnC. I do recall a Ferrari guy going rev crazy. I am able to meet anytime Saturday though

It happened at the one at CnC Charlotte too. Knucklehead mustang driver doing burnouts got them kicked out of the Northlake location but they have found a new location at the NC Music Factory by Matts Diner.

I prob wont be going to any meets until my car is ready. Trying to get it ready for Import Alliance (at the ZMax Dragway) at the end of July. Then Eurowise (location TBA) is supposely having a big meet in early August.

Hopefully ill be seeing you all there.
