One of the greatest duels of last season. Amazing, and brave. Kubica could have done better had he a better ride.

Yeah that will make it a bit more interesting. I heard Felipe Massa was really struggling without it in testing.

Ya man, it's a dog-eat-dog world on the circuits. Honestly I think it's this stuff that keeps me interested. F1 needs to be more competitive. Axing traction management is a huge step in the right direction. Removing a bunch of fixed aero parts is also a good thing too. This next season is definitely one to watch. Maybe there'll be much more of this to come.

They should have never had traction control. I thought the year F1 had launch control along with brake assisted steering was pathetic!

It should be a interesting year. GO Ferarri!!!!!

well,
if it was dry conditions and their wheels touched there is a good chance one of them would be up in the air. The wet conditions allow them a little bit of forgiveness.

true, but i always want to see F1, the sport with the most technologically advanced racing cars on earth, progress towards the future. I want to see higher and higher performance components of the cars be developed so that that can achieve higher speeds, faster shifts, faster corners, better braking, and so on. It just seems like forcing them to remove areo dynamics and TC is like taking a few steps backward in terms of what the cars can achieve.

they're not supposed to, and usually try to avoid that at all costs. The most ridiculous part of F1 is watching the first lap, and seeing if everyone makes it out alive

This is absolutly true!
F1 is not nascar and the stewards have a close eye in every move the driver and team makes on and off the track.

There is NO bumping cars out of your way to gain position without paying a price. Again, F1 is not Nascar. ie.....Nascar...Montoya bumping his own teammate pruett out of the race (in the last lap) in Mexico to gain a win. He was allowed to keep the win....BS!

Your are right in the sense in technological advancement is exciting but to what degree? Do you know that they have computers that can actually do laps without a driver? (I know this is extreme)
I would love to see the MT back ...just to see the skill set of the drivers.

In a sense it does even the playing field for the drivers because ,IMO,less skills are required to drive a car with R&D in TC, brake assisted steering, engine management, ...etc. but you have to realize that only certain number of team can afford the costs in development. It's a fine balance that Bernie and FIA has to make in imposing the regulations. Do you want a 3 team F1 season. ....I don't

That being said I'm looking forward in seeing what Fernando can do back at Renault and hope Honda can get their heads out of their asses. Its really bad when the Super Aguri Honda, a private team, is beating the factory team. Not to mention, Toyota....money alone can't buy speed.

I really can't wait for the 1st race on the weekend of the 14th!!!

F1 would be going in the right direction if it wasnt for the 10 year engine freeze !!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish they would get rid of that stupid rule. I also wish they had 2 tyre manufacturers so that the performance of the tyres wouldnt be so restricted as it is now. I wish all the stupid little wings would get taken off. And last but not least, I wish they would let the cars not have any, or barely any, downforce restrictions.

Besides that, GO FERRARI !!!!!!!!!
