APEX is looking for a part time Warehouse Assistant with shipping and receiving duties as their primary responsibility. Warehouse Assistants will work in cooperation with a Warehouse Supervisor to fulfilling orders, receive stock shipments, package kits, keep the office and warehouse clean/orderly, and work within our software system to manage and move inventory. There is no room for error in this department. Order accuracy and attention to detail are vital. Successful candidates will be proactive and willing to search out and take care of tasks without direction after regular activities are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would be familiar with automotive performance parts and would provide an excellent customer experience by accurately fulfilling orders, double checking work, staying organized, and communicating clearly. Training can be provided but some experience is preferred.

The work schedule for this job is flexible, which can be ideal for college students. Typical work would be performed between Monday and Friday, between the hours of 8am and 4pm. We are looking for candidates who could work 20 to 30~ hours each week in the warehouse. We promote from within, and reward hard work. Every task, whether small or large, is an opportunity to prove yourself as this position periodically assists the photo studio, marketing, and engineering departments.

Warehouse Assistant Job Duties:

• Process incoming inventory
• Unload monthly freight containers
• Pull inventory to fulfill orders
• Package orders for shipment
• Process orders through NetSuite and PaceJet shipping software
• Support Sales staff's needs regarding inventory and shipment tracking
• Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout warehouse and office area
• Run periodic errands, pick-ups, deliveries
• Assist with basic operation of Photo Studio
• Provide support at events

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification form a certified college a must
• Minimum 2.5 GPA required with official transcript
• Clear written and verable communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Touch typist
• Valid CA Drivers License required with clean record
• Must be able to reach items overhead, and lift 75 pounds from the ground
• Willingness to work on weekends on rare occasion when needed for events
• Experience with shipping and receiving preferred
• Familiar with BMW performance parts preferred
