162s with spacers are one of the best looks on E90 without Msport bumpers.

Actually, just discovered that I am rubbing with rear 20mm under heavy load. Will probably depend on your tire and alignment if you rub or not, because I think its a pretty small margin of error with the 20mm. My rear right is rubbing more than my rear left.

I'm on KW V2 with 255/35/18 Hankook Ventus V12 on OEM 162 in the rear.

Measure a bit more today and doubting that the 18mm will fit in the rear. May have to settle with the 12mm in the back and nothing on the front. Really don't want to roll the fenders. These Michelin PSS are quite square shouldered hehe. But love the quietness and grip!

So, as an update:

e90 pre-lci ZSP on 162s running Michelin Pilot SS with an 18mm spacer will rub if you don't get the fender rolled. Boo.

So for now I've stuck the 12mm spacers back there (still looks better than stock) and left the front alone. Probably gonna go for 15mm in the back if I decide to try rears again.

Bringing back another thread

Just installed 18mm BMS spacers on the rear only. I really like the stance. No difference noticed from stock. Could not really find good pictures so I tried to do a little better with the pics for anyone looking to do the same.

Hi,

I have the same car and want to ask if your tires have any rub to the fender for front and back? Also do you have the fender rolled? In the picture it looks just like mine, rolled.

Someone wrote this earlier on F10 forum but the idea is the same. you guys see someone say 20mm is OK and no rub and run with that. Understand, that BMW designs a lot of tolerance for your wheel wells. You should not rub with 5 people in the car, full tank of gas, and luggage, tearing through a turn at maximum possible speed. Thats why this wheel gap is what it is. Now, if you wanna put 20mm spacers it will look great. But if you gonna run the car as BMW intended on max setup / you WILL rub. Dont even doubt it. Just depends how you drive the car and so on. So for some who puddle around town all day looking cool its not an issue but if you track the car, have big family, whatever/ think before you start pushing wheels out.

Speaking from experience. All these guys running super tight setups who say "no rubbing" are not driving their cars most likely as BMW intended. So its like buyer beware.
