FANTASTIC WORK!! Looks like your kit will be available in 3 stages, can we get some idea on pricing?

Thanks! Actually, our single turbo kit will be available in just one stage. But with at a few different turbo options to suit individual needs/preferences. Depending on turbo choice, official power ratings will likely range from 600bhp to 800bhp.

I am curious to see how this stacks up to the M3(e46) wich,I may be wrong, hasnt posted a low 10 sec. pass with all that power. Shiv or any bodthat drag races how do you think this platform will differ from the M3 in terms of posting Low E.T.s vs. traction issues.
I can't speak for other car platforms. But I have personally driven my 6MT with stock turbos/FBO to several 11.5x passes (best was 11.50). And with a small shot of nitrous, I ran a 11.3x but with a bad 60'. Currently, the car is making over 100whp more than that. And it's making it where it counts (high RPM) so I'd be very disappointed if it didn't run a 10s pass. But that won't be for a while. We still have lots of other stuff we'd like to do with it. I think it would be funny if it skipped over the 10s and ran 9s the first time out

I wonder, does the N54 engine really have a hardware limit ?

9 out of 10 times, it all boils down to how an engine is tuned. Making another 200whp makes the need for a stable tuning solution that much more critical. Half a dozen customized failsafes doesn't hurt either.

+1 I've seen several built motors blown at levels a stock motor could handle because of poor tuning. It's tough to break a decent bottom end due to power but bad or prolonged detonation can easily kill even the strongest of motors. It's ALL about the tune.

True for the EJ257 for example, but the N54 is so damn self-protective in terms of knock/det detection and correction that I'm not sure surgical tuning ability is required to keep these motors alive. But hell I'd LOVE to see someone prove that wrong (for science )

Keep the power coming Shiv!

Shiv, if you were to somehow trap high 130s and maybe touch 140 once you make 700 WHP, then I would be exstatic...

Which in theory should be possible.

Shiv, any idea how much power you could make on only 93 octane? From your early tests it looks like around 500 whp. Were you still leaving some power on the table at that point?
