I have not dyno'd my car yet, but identical cars to mine (JB4+DCI+Meth) are producing around 400 hp to the wheels, and around 430 wtq (on a Dynojet). The only negative; I have a hunch it's blowing my cats to pieces! Welcome to the board, btw.. |

OEM carbon fiber
Hi everyone. Say has anyone installed the front splitters on a non M package, non aero 335i E90 LCI? The carbon fiber type from the BMW accessaries catalog.
I'm thinking about having them installed at delivery. Nov, 2011. |

While I'm here might as well ask -- winters. I've gotta replace mine. '09 335i xdrive (and possibly soon - like today - an '11 335 i xdrive SE).
I've heard about the Hakka 9s - comments seem to be they are fantastic in snow and lousy on dry pavement. Too soft to corner well. Does anyone have experience with 'em around here - or any better recommendation for Calgary-style winters. Note: I also drive a lot between here and the Okanagan. Edit: crap - I see there's a thread on this in the forum already. Over to there. Last edited by idspispopd; 10-22-2011 at 09:29 AM.. Reason: Dumbass missed the existing thread! |

Protection
Any one know of a good place in Calgary to get 3m or equal protection? I'd like to get this done but the dealership is saying nov 17! I've got the basic package but wanted to do a little more around the wheel wells.

So I've been in Calgary for 2 months now.. Since it just snowed today, I would like to ask a few questions... Where do you get undercoat done? what type? is it important to get it done here? also how much does it cost?

I am glad to hear you are buying a RWD manual. Do you mind me asking where you bought your car? Also, will you be buying winter tires for it? |

I had my wife MDX and my X6 done at Refine Automotive salon they did a great jobs. Price is good considering the entire hoods are protected by 3M.
