This shift knob looks like the standard knob, only shorter. The knob is about the same size as the M Sport knob. It comes with leather boot attached and looks new. Price was $110 from dealer. Part number 25110404454.

$75 shipped.

So it´s actually the sport knob since you stated that´s about the same size as the M knob

The knob and boot are one piece. It can't be separated, if that's what you are asking.

Yes, that's the one. It has no blemishes and is in 98% new condition. I won't be able to post side pics until this evening.
