drift car vs. track day/race car
I'm a pretty big fan of going sideways as well as going around the track as quick as possible.
I'm contemplating entering a amateur drift comp next month which got me thinking what is the difference between a Track day/race labelled car and a Drift car? suspension setup?

alignment and suspension setup will most likely be different on a drift car. I know of one Formula D pro team that has very particular alignment specs to make the car more controllable during drift. Also, tire size/choice may vary as well.
If you are just entering for fun, I wouldn't worry too much about it though. |

Just put some narrow tires on the back of either of your Porsches and you'll have a perfect drift machine

stupidly enough though, i have maybe possibly tooken the 4.0 once or twice when he had his back turned, and OMG you do not need narrower tires, 325s feel like 195 whenever you even go near the throttle with the traction/stability control is off. god damn its fast though.

thats awesome, i've grown up around porches and now i just cant help but love them. 996 GT3 is such a great car, i'm pretty adamant about using them for what they were built for (i pretty much forced my dad out there haha), keep pushing him! i'd love to see another GT3 out there.
