Procede Vinlock

I wanted to know if a Procede is Vin Locked for V5, if you go backward as for V4 maps and firmware, will it work and not need to be unlocked by Vishnu??

If procede is vinlocked in v5 then v5 won't work on any other cars. If you go back to v4, procede will work on any car.

If you have a Rev3 Unit it won't be vinlocked.

Rev 3 vinlocks too. Only the rev2.5 SE don't vin lock. It is v5(firmware)that's locking not the revision that locks.

Is there any other purpose in vin locking other than to screw the buyer when he wants to sell?

Then that is the something new. Before even rev3 was vinlocked. It was based on the firmware. I know someone who has a rev3 and it's vinlocked.
