I play keyboards in a variety of rock bands.
Grew up learning music and played cornet and trumpet as a child. Used to play French Horn in the BBC Radio Leeds Symphony Orchestra and in the Leeds Symphony Orchestra when I was a teenager, then discovered the joy of ROCK. Also enjoy PC gaming, wine, gym, curry eating, partying...

So, this e90post UK forum band, 'Carlos & the Tank-tops', or whatever it's going to be called, looks like having a number of potential members:
Mike (mike138) on guitar Mike's wife on vocals Tony's (E92Fan) girlfriend as backing singer Paul (beauforty) on guitar Simon (needforspeed) on guitar, keyboards & sax Carlos (dxb335d) on triangle Paul (silverbmwz3) on guitar, keyboard & drums (drumkit needed) Gavin (RockIt) on keyboard Viv as manager / promoter ! That's a pretty large number of 'artists' for one band, with Simon & Paul having a hell of a job playing 3 different instruments! Right then- when & where's the first gig? Viv |

Thanks Carloquial.
Just for fun, I knocked up this potential 'first album' cover backdrop for the new band. It's quite a famous street, apparently! Enjoy! Viv |

Excuse me this is Tony's girlfriend here and I would just like to correct an issue. I do NOT have a whiny voice and I DON'T nag (much, only when he doesn't do what he's told). I have a very sexy voice with a slight American twang and I'd be more than happy to be your backing singer as long as someone lets me drive their new M3. Deal?
And incidentally if Tony seems frustrated it's because he's in trouble and I'm not giving him any. Whiny voice indeed. Lots love Nat xx |

Looks like Tony will need a few lessons from the master of the "tug", young Carlos. If I was you Nat,I'd confiscate his car keys & only return them once you've seen his signature on the order form for the new M3. |

Right then, DJ as much as you like Steve, but you can only play Barry Manilow & Julio Iglesias- at any speed you like, of course!

Officially resurrected post after texting and talking to Viv. So when's the gig Viv? You managing this crock of shite or what mate?!! I charge a minimum rider of at least 2 JDs and a look at someone's secondhand page 3 stunner. Pipe and slippers are a must of course. Goes without saying really

My tuppence: When I'm not working like a maniac - I like fast cars, fast bikes......slow women (I used to like fast women but I'm too old to catch 'em now)
I collect odd socks, belly button fluff and strangely shaped pork scratchings Oh and I'm a bit of a guitarist too - been playing since I was 5...one of these days I'll learn how to play the damn thing properly!! Gigged a bit in the past but no time for it now. Current collection includes: US Fender Strat (54 body) in Shoreline Gold with Maple neck, vintage pick-ups, pro trem etc (my second love), Ibanez S type Mahogany/FM (my rock axe), Line 6 Variax electro-acoustic, Parker Nite-Fly, Echo 6 & 12 string acoustics. I used to use Vox AC30 and Marshall combos in the past but have now gone over to the dark side (non valve) and run a Line 6 Vetta II digital with the FBV floor unit. Just one question regarding the band: Do we get complimentary groupies?? If not, then I suggest we add them to the rider...
