San Diego to OC/Irvine Cars & Coffee Cruise
ok so at least one different person has brought this up at almost every meet we've had for the past couple of weeks, so i'm going to formally throw it out there as an idea.
yes it will be a great pain in the ass getting up early on a saturday. apparently a lot of you want to do it but don't want to head out unless there is a big group going, so lets get that started. in my past experience (driving there from the inland empire), you pretty much have to show up at 630 or you will not be parking in the show itself. i myself do not care where i park, whether it is inside or outside the show, my car looks stock, suspension aside anyways. so let's discuss a few things San Diego - what calendar date would be suitable? next saturday is too soon and i believe a subsequent saturday in february is the socal euro poker run - where does everyone want to park? inside show or in spectator? that would dictate when we would leave/arrive. - who will help Larry edit his go-pro footage because 3.9 GB's is difficult to upload and download - there is no need for discussion as to if it will be fun or not a. last time we did savini, it was a blast b. the drive up to savini was fun c. carlsbad c&c is lame. i'm going to be perfectly honest. this will be 5x bigger and 10x more interesting. ready set go! |
