peeps with M6 reps from **********s...

I am starting a new thread, so hopefully more people with M6 replicas will read it and give their opinion...

REFERENCE THREAD: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=121660&page=2

For people that have M6 reps from **********s - Do you feel a weird noise when you brake, almost at the very end of the stop?
It almost feel like there is something loose at the suspension that rocks front and back

My dealer is telling me that it is because of my replicas and the fact that BMW wheels are hub centric...Which I think is pure BS....

I would greatly appreciate if someone from Atlanta area that has a 335 and stock wheels is willing to switch wheels and tires for a few min. just to see if the reason is really with my wheels.

Please let me know!
Thanks!!!

The wheels are hubcentric specifically for a BMW - 72.56 bore size. The dealer is giving you complete BS here.

If he has any questions on the wheels, you can have him call me direct, there are dealerships putting on Miro wheels just cause of the offset being proper. But yes its hubcentric - your brake problems has to do with something else. Your warranty should be covering it.

I haven't had any problems with my M6 wheels from **********s. They feel just like stock wheels, they just look better

F*ckin' knew it....It really ios a complete BS, because I just tested my wife's Mercedes that also has hubcentric wheels and the bolts were good enough in centering the wheel....

Aghhhrrrrrrr I hate dealing with dealers....

I love the wheels...Very very easy to maintain "clean"

I have 245' in the front and 275's in the rear

I've felt this same thing too. Not so much when I do a soft brake, but when I brake more aggressively. Its coming from the rear, like the suspension is moving back and forth. I thought it was the stuff in the trunk, but now I need to look into this.

No I'm not blaming the M6 reps either. This is the first time its been doing this.

Exactly!!! It feels like your brake calipers or some other parts in the brake/suspension area are moving back and forth...

I know it is not the wheels, but just wanted to confirm it with other folks that have them....And yes, I dont have anything in the trunk

Thank you RiXst3r, I was waiting for you to chime in

I guess I will have to take it down to a different dealer and get a second opinion on that issue...I dont want to be driving with doubts that my suspension can fail at any time...

OK, it is confirmed!!! I DO NOT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR at all...

Apperently whaetever I am hearing is normal for all e92s (I dont know why you guys dont hear it...), but I test drove two different brand new 2008 e92 with manual tran. and they both acted the same exact way as mine.

I knew the SA was full of crap...

That's good to know. Miro reps are solid and we have never had an issue running them either.

They sure are! They're double checked to make sure they are flawless before they're shipped out, but if you do see some sort of defect on the finish, we got you covered with the 1 year warranty on Miro wheels that you purchase from us

If you plan to use 275 tires rear, order offset ET40 for the e92/e93. I did so, no rubbing at all.

Ciao,
Eugen
