Thanks to all that are following this thread, its a darn long journey!
Everyday I find something new I want to do on the car! But I guess I'll have to stop at one point and just enjoy the results! Strangely enough I did manage to get down to the workshop tonight but it was dark and hard to take happy snaps! The most intresting thing I learnt though is that the M3 muffler does just exactly that but more so that even the stock 335i muffler! I only rev'd it a few time standing still but I think either it hasn't changed much or has become quieter, which I dont really mind so long as it doesn't impact the performance. I've requested that the workshop do a dyno with and without the M3 Muffler to see how detrimental it is to performance! Other things of interest are in the pictures but it was too dark to get any photos of the FSDs and I forgot to take a picture of the Meth tank in the boot!

After finally finding a cross section of the M3 muffler it seems for every two outlets there is two sections in the muffler (making two pairs of identical sections) so there are two Hemelortz (I dont think I spelt that right) sections and two sections where there is sound dampening fibre and the piping is perforated. But I guess the key point is that the piping does not reduce in size through the muffler. I used to think that this would be a bad thing as it quietens the exhaust bark quite a lot but since this is my daily and I dont really want any unwarrented attention from the boys in blue, my conclusion is that provided I meet my performance goals, I will leave the muffler as is. I'll be posting some of the other things that will be going onto the car soon!

Very nice man. Car looks great, cant wait til you get the piano black trim ( i hate aluminum)
I would actually rather do this than buy an M3 too. I Love the M3s looks but... I dont like the interior trim options on the M and love how on the 335 the trim extends to the shifter area. Rather have the TT with the better mpg Also would rather have the softer more luxurious ride |

Sorry for the delay, I've been away again and need to find the time to go and test drive the car! Performance work is done but want to hear the exhaust note under load before deciding to gut the muffler!
Will hae more pics soon! Peace!

Quick comment after going for a short test drive with the performance work done!
Loving the mods! Feels like a different car! Didn't take any photos cause I forgot my camera but must say that Meth reminds me of old school seq twin turbos! Damn exciting! Given that its the first time I've driven the car in many many months! Dyno should happen next week, since they wanted me to test drive the car to see if I'm happy! I dont expect it to do as well as some of the other cars on here with Meth as I believe the M3 exhaust is restrictive but I can live with that since without a LSD its already hard to put down the power effectively but this is on standard wheels and tires so when the new wheels and rubber go on I believe this should improve. I'll have to wait till early July to finish off the body work but in the meantime I'll get started on the inside of the car with some help from Patrys! Might also take the car to a detailer since ins been in the workshops for ages! Otherwise if time permits I'll do it myself! Some quality one on one time! Anyways that's it from me for now, pics soon!
