If you're in contact: We should push him to get the hotel booked if he's still interested in that side of things [Although looks like not too many are taking a hotel: I still have as I always fancy a night away rather than a long drive back]. As the prices keep going up!

It's only about 15 miles for me, so the drive isn't a problem.

Speaking of which....

Can people please respond to the messages from Will regarding the meet. We are trying to book stuff up, but still have a number of unknowns. Basically we will take no response as an indication that you are cancelling / will not be attending and will not book accordingly. Space is limited for the places that we are looking and we don't really want to have to send you down to McDonalds!

In other details...

Meeting will be at the Cotswold Water Park as this has worked so well in the past. Park up and have a drink whilst we wait for Tony to phone and tell us how late he'll be.

Aim to meet from about 1000.
Morning run out to lunch from about 1130. Planned route loops out to the West and then back up to Kemble for lunch.
After lunch the intention is move north for more scenery, a refreshment stop and pictures etc.
Following this we'll complete the move north to Cheltenham for the evening.

Sunday is still fluid, expect some PMs or feel free to start posting ideas as to what you want. The basic plan is to meet at the hotel (not too early) and take a run out to a lunch stop. Indications needed as to how much people feel they want to eat - snack or meal? Aftr this it'll probably be time for people to head their separate ways.

My preferance would be an ~1h run out in the morning (Well. 11am? ) followed by a proper lunch (I'll not bother with a travelodge breakfast... ) and then head for home

Are you going up the M40 then? I'm heading out on the M4 towards Swindon and turning north there - is a very quick route from London

It's much of a muchness for me - either M40/A40/A429 or M4/A419 take about 2 hours door to door (well, door to waterpark!) for me. Could switch to meeting at M4 Reading services if people prefer?
